A man in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was shocked last week to received a telephone bill for $218 trillion on a phone line he recently disconnected that used to belong to his deceased father's phone. This amount owed is perhaps only eclipsed by our January cell phone bill. Click our ads!The government-run phone company, Telekom Malaysia, has said they were aware of his bill (duh - ed.), but couldn't comment further. The letter the man received inside his padded envelope said that he had 10 days to pay the fee or he could face legal action.
"If the company wants to seek legal action as mentioned in the letter, I'm ready to face it. In fact, I can't wait to face it."
Thus begins the most hilarious court case ever. We'll keep you posted if we find out more.
