Step 5: Add Protein Powder 
 
Here's where we get the protein boost to get the day going well and to get the body's metabolism kicked off. Depending on your preference, you can use whey or soy protein, fat free or not. It all depends on what you want to get out of your drink. When I'm working out a lot and trying to add mass, I'll use CytoGain or something similar. If I'm not burning lots of calories or working out, I'll switch over to the more low-fat, low carb protein powder, like Kashi Go Lean. Add one or two scoops to your liking to the blender. No blending yet, though. Be patient, it'll happen soon enough.
