What do you do on the day after an election ?
I usually get sick, whether I win or lose. You work so hard for the
duration of the campaign that you don't allow yourself to get sick. So when
the letdown comes after the campaign is over, all the flu germs attack and
you usually spend the next week or two recovering.
What is your prescription to avoid post-election influenza?
If candidates absolutely know that they're going to lose, they should relax
and slow down.
