Lest it has slipped your mind amidst the holiday hurry, David and Margaret Gould Stewart are expecting their first child in January. Mags is now thoroughly sick of her maternity clothes and is complaining left and right about the baby kicking and hiccuping inside of her. A beautiful sunset the other day prompted her to announce that she was definitely having a girl because the clouds were pink, but others pointed out that the entire sky was blue, so the matter remains unresolved. Like it or not, Mags and the rest of us will just have to wait another month before these mysteries are unveiled. Time to start an office pool to guess the baby's sex and birth weight!

One department here at Tripod has been booming since its birth — our Taxonomy Dept. Just four months ago we hired two Taxonomy Editors, and now the department is sporting four full-time employees: Michael, our Senor Taxonomisto; Barak, the Potluck Guy; David, a Dr. Seuss super-fan; and Adam, our second Wienert addition (the first was Jenny Wienert, our receptionist).

Now, you may wonder — what IS a Taxonomy Editor? No, they don't stuff dead birds, or Web pages for that matter. Our Taxonomists are busy categorizing all of your brilliant and diverse homepages on Tripod, working to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. So, when you type in Baseball and find really great pages on the Cardinals or the Yankees, and not pages on Barbie, you have our new Taxonomy team to thank!
