Writing our Insider section is a tough job. Ethan needed a break after reading all the mail from readers who took the blame for breaking Gail's window. He asked me to pass on that there's no more blame to go around. I'm the editor of the Insider, Maryl Neff.

V-Day! The Tripod United soccer team won its first game, 3-2. Team members were more than a little surprised since all had spent the long winter sitting at their desks. By all reports, Hank Zill was the standout player. The second game wasn't quite so rosy. Josh Field reported that the opponents had five college varsity basketball players and three varsity soccer players, so it's no wonder we didn't fare well. Josh said game number three will be different. If it's not, team mom Emma Taylor will be there to pick up the pieces.

Welcome to our new Community Manager, Bill Pfleging, who previously ran his own computer business in Woodstock, N.Y. Most people equate Woodstock with music, and sure enough, Bill is reputed to be an accomplished guitarist and songwriter. I'm told that he made his way into the local music community in less than a week. We'll keep you informed.
